7 days a week timetable

No, its not a joke.
We officially have a 7 days a week timetable from now on until our finals in the end of April. We have classes from 9 in the morning until 8.30 in the evening, most days. If its not scheduled lectures then its extra lectures. All the professors want to finish their syllabus way before the semester ends so that they wont have to rush through it in the end. Caught in the middle of this, are us, the poor students. How much can we take? No normal human on this planet, can sit on a hard chair from 9-8.30 listening to people talk, taking notes, asking questions, not looking dazed and that too with only 15 min to 1/2 hr breaks between lectures aaaaanndd do this 7 days a week? Arent we humans? Dont we need to rest? Maybe read up on what we learnt?
Hmmm! Like they tell us...maaaybe its a good thing, maaaaybe this is what MBA is all about but I fail to see how being physically and mentally exhausted helps us. How will we be able to grasp everything and isnt that the motive as an MBA student?

The boss at my previous firm said "There are only 3 days in a week - saturday, sunday and weekday".
I guess they are preparing you for the worst. Also may be you should consider a fund-raising event to buy like a joey-chair, that should cushion more than where it hurts. ;)
